Perfluoroether rubber refers to a terpolymer of tetrafluoroethylene, perfluorinated methyl vinyl ether and perfluoroalkene ether. It is a rubber completely free of C- H bonds and has thermal stability and chemical resistance similar to polytetrafluoroethylene.
Perfluoroether seal product characteristics:
1. Corrosion resistance
Perfluoroether rubber can withstand the corrosion of almost all chemical media, including ethers, ketones, benzene ring solvents, strong oxidants, strong acids, strong bases, etc., and can withstand chemicals that other rubbers cannot use (such: acrylonitrile, butyl acrylonitrile, DNT, ethers, dichloromethane, styrene, amine groups, ethoxyethanol, ethylene oxide, oxygen compounds, nitrogen compounds, THF, aniline groups, DMF, dipropylene oxide, ketones, diluents, vinyl chloride, butadiene, DMT, esters, propylene oxide, etc.), perfluoroether rubber can also show excellent use performance in these media. However, the solvent resistance of perfluorinated ether rubber will vary due to the different grades of raw rubber, so the grade of rubber must be correctly selected when using it, especially when it is applied to amine-based compounds.
Perfluoroether rubber O-rings can withstand most solvents with excellent physical properties and are quite complete OTHELLO Othello in terms of size.
2. High temperature resistance
Perfluoroether rubber high temperature resistance, resistance to special media performance is unmatched by general fluorine rubber. Perfluoroether rubber has better resistance to high temperature compression set than fluororubber.
For harsh high temperature environment, the physical properties and stable sealing capacity of the product can still be maintained. At present, the OTHELLO company's perfluoroether rubber sealing products can reach a high continuous use temperature of 330 ℃.
3. Plasma resistance
For the plasma environment, showing high clean low Particle product characteristics, can withstand plasma impact for a long time, still maintain a good sealing effect.
The vulcanized rubber of perfluoroether rubber also has low permeability to gas and liquid and good combustion resistance, electrical insulation properties, low friction and wear properties, and thermal conductivity and linear expansion coefficient.
The density of perfluorinated ether rubber is 1.9~2.0g/cm3, and the hardness, tensile strength, elongation at break, tear strength, tensile set, compression set, elasticity and other properties of vulcanized rubber can be adjusted by selecting different raw rubber varieties, fillers, vulcanizing agents, etc. within a certain range, and have good physical and mechanical properties similar to those of fluorine rubber.

Dry etching and wet etching in semiconductor etching film processes are suitable for different specific scenarios. 1. **Dry Etching**: - **Applications**: Typically used for high-resolution patterning, such as in the fabrication of integrated circuits (ICs) and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). - **Advantages**: Provides better control over etching profiles, allows for anisotropic etching (vertical etching), and is suitable for etching complex geometries. - **Common Techniques**: Reactive Ion Etching (RIE), Deep Reactive Ion Etching (DRIE), and Plasma Etching. 2. **Wet Etching**: - **Applications**: Often used for bulk material removal, cleaning, and in processes where isotropic etching is acceptable, such as in the fabrication of certain types of sensors and optical devices. - **Advantages**: Generally simpler and less expensive than dry etching, and can be more effective for certain materials. - **Common Techniques**: Acid or alkaline solutions are used to etch materials like silicon, silicon dioxide, and metals. In summary, dry etching is preferred for applications requiring precision and complex patterns, while wet etching is suitable for simpler tasks and bulk material processing.
